INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTMANAGER HEALTHCARE – CARIBBEAN
We are systematically achieving our ambitious growth objectives and are actively and enthusiastically working to further strengthen the strategic market position of the Healthcare segment within the Necarex Business Unit. These activities involve the sale of medical, healthcare, and laboratory supplies and services to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare institutions in Suriname and the (former) Dutch Antilles. In addition to Healthcare, we are also active in the Electrical Engineering, Construction/Infrastructure, and Industrial segments within this region. We are looking to further strengthen our team with a professional:
WHAT WE OFFER
- a challenging and interesting international export sales position on full time basis with an interesting combination of sales and procurement in a market with many commercial opportunities.
- Account Management / Sales: You are responsible for sales to healthcare institutions across multiple countries and act as the driving commercial force and central point of coordination in realizing the significant growth opportunities within the Healthcare segment. You will travel for customer visits approximately two to three times per year, typically for periods of several weeks at a time. You are responsible for preparing, managing, and following up on Healthcare-related quotations, supported by an experienced internal sales team.
- Procurement Management: healthcare is a growing product-market combination within our Company with many commercial opportunities. Next to international sales you are also responsible for the important further development and growth of our healthcare assortments and the supply chain. You procure and build on (strategic) contacts and partnerships with our vendors. You regularly visit suppliers and trade shows.
- you carry own budget responsibility for the market segment Healthcare.

- working from home in the future is (partly) possible, but in the framework of learning and on the job training we expect that frequent office attendance in Almere is necessary.

- you have experience with medical and/or healthcare products from a sales and/or procurement perspective, and your medical affinity enables you to quickly get to the heart of matters and achieve results on both the commercial and purchasing sides. A broad knowledge of the Healthcare industry and an extensive network of suppliers are therefore considered strong assets.
- you are an effective relationship builder within the institutional market and a trusted, professional discussion partner at all levels of the decision-making unit (DMU).
- you think in terms of solutions, partnerships, and long-term relationships. The solutions you propose deliver clear and tangible added value for our customers.
- you feel at home in a very international, dynamic and professional trading environment, where sales and procurement merge seamlessly into viable technical and commercial solutions. You are prepared to travel.
- you have an education at University or Bachelor level (minimum HBO level) and have professional fluency in both Dutch and English. Without these language skills you do not qualify for this position.
- you enjoy – in spite of your self-starting and independent capabilities – to function in a strong team within a professional trading environment.
